Three Poems To Start This Site Right


Typing. Deleting. Typing. Deleting.

Stopping. Thinking. Starting. Stopping.

Publishing. Editing. Updating. Editing.

But does anyone really care?




Click click click click.

The long nails on their tiny legs tap the floor.

Grumble grumble grumble grumble.

Their stomachs hang a measly inch from the ground

Flop flop flop flop.

Their ears two sizes too big.

Woof woof woof woof.

Their quirks make them cute,

Something maybe we should learn.




Her hair is like a serene ocean,

Waving and glowing to the sun.

Her eyes are like the beach,

Untouched, inviting, and warm.

Her lips are like the sun,

Kissing me goodbye from afar.

Her voice is like a sweet wave,

Always reminding me it’s okay.

She is a serene ocean,

And I think she’s perfect.
